Seoul Police Bust Fake Flare Network Staking Site Scamming $8.5M
A Seoul police investigation revealed a fake staking website impersonating Flare Network (FLR) scammed 71 investors out of $8.5 million in XRP.
The site, Fxrpntwork(dot)com, operated for eight days in October 2025, promising monthly returns of 1.5% to 1.8% with principal guaranteed.
Victims were directed to move funds off domestic exchanges and deposit them into wallets controlled by the group.
The investigation resulted in three suspects being taken into custody, while a fourth remains overseas with an Interpol Red Notice requested for their arrest.
