Sequans Slashes Bitcoin Holdings by 80% to Clear Debt
Sequans Communications, a French semiconductor firm, has significantly reduced its Bitcoin holdings after selling 1,200 BTC in the second quarter of 2026.
The company's treasury now holds just 314 BTC, valued at around $18.4 million, down from 1,514 BTC worth $103.2 million in March 2026.
This move was made to clear its convertible debt, which was fully paid off in May 2026.
The sale of Bitcoin resulted in a realized net gain of $5.3 million for the company, compared to an $11.7 million loss in the first quarter of 2026.
