Seth Green Reunites with Stolen Bored Ape After Costly Recovery
Seth Green's Bored Ape NFT has been reunited with its owner after being stolen and sold to a buyer who claimed they were unaware it was pilfered.
The actor had been trying to retrieve his NFT, which he refers to as Fred, and has finally succeeded in getting it back. However, the reunion came at a cost - 165 ETH was transferred to the wallet of the original thief's associate.
DarkWing84, also known as Mr. Cheese, stated that they had no idea the NFT was stolen and claimed the purchase was made in good faith. The Bored Ape still carries a warning label on OpenSea, indicating it has been reported for suspicious activity.
