Seven-Session Bitcoin ETF Inflow Streak Snapped by Large Outflow
Bitcoin ETF funds in the US recorded nearly $1 billion in net inflows over seven consecutive sessions through July 22, marking their longest positive run in 11 weeks. BlackRock's IBIT captured $319.16 million of the $499.05 million added this week alone.
The streak ended with a -$225 million outflow on July 23, despite Bitcoin holding steady above $65,000. The price climbed above $66,000 during the strongest two sessions, July 20 and July 21, driven by news of President Trump's agreement to ethics rules holding up the CLARITY Act.
The bipartisan digital-asset legislation would establish clearer regulatory boundaries for crypto markets, potentially unlocking institutional demand. Institutional investors may be more willing to invest in Bitcoin ETFs if regulatory clarity reduces compliance risks.
