ShardLab and EKRAF Strengthen Partnership to Develop Blockchain Talent in Southeast Asia
ShardLab and Indonesia's Ministry of Creative Economy (EKRAF) have strengthened their partnership to develop blockchain talent across Southeast Asia. The two entities signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the Southeast Asia Blockchain Week (SEABW) in Bangkok, which led to six Indonesian participants joining Cohort 9 of ShardLab's 12-week builder bootcamp.
The cohort concluded its program with a Final Demo at Melasti Beach in Bali, Indonesia, on August 21. The event showcased the products developed by the participants over the past 12 weeks, with all teams having moved from concept to working product. The participants were fully sponsored and matched with dedicated mentors each week.
The Protocol Camp model has already shown promising results, with several successful projects emerging from previous cohorts. BeBridge won the grand prize at the SEABW 2026 AI Hackathon, while DollarParking launched on Google Play, allowing stablecoin holders to use USDT for exposure to tokenized U.S. equities.
Applications are now open for Cohort 10, which will start during EastPoint:Seoul 2026 in Seoul. The program is open to developers, designers, and product builders across Asia, covering both blockchain and AI.
