Sharplink Cracks Top 10 Ethereum Holders After Racking Up $91M in Staking Income

Sharplink, a NASDAQ-listed company trading under the ticker SBET, has cemented its position as one of the largest publicly traded Ethereum treasury operations by generating 586 ETH from staking rewards in a single week. This brings its total Ethereum holdings to approximately 890,376 ETH.

The company's transformation is one of the most dramatic corporate pivots in recent crypto history. Sharplink abandoned its original sports betting model and shifted towards becoming an institutional-grade Ethereum treasury platform. The pivot began on June 2, 2025, when the company started staking nearly 100% of its ETH holdings.

Since then, Sharplink has generated between 13,000 and 18,000 ETH in cumulative staking rewards. CEO Joseph Chalom brought traditional asset management DNA to the operation from his background at BlackRock. Chairman Joseph Lubin is a co-founder of Ethereum itself and the founder of Consensys, which also backs Sharplink.
