Sharplink Gaming Surpasses 900k ETH Holdings with Fresh Stake
Sharplink Gaming has made another significant Ethereum (ETH) purchase, adding approximately 39,319 ETH to its treasury at a cost of around $91 million. This transaction brings Sharplink's total ETH holdings to over 928,000, solidifying its position as one of the largest corporate ETH holders worldwide.
The company has been systematically accumulating ETH since mid-2025, with Chairman Joseph Lubin leading the effort. This purchase follows a consistent pattern of gradually increasing its ETH position through staking and liquid staking derivatives rather than holding the asset idle.
Sharplink's revenue from staking reached $11.2 million in the second quarter of 2026, despite a net loss of $394.3 million for the period. The company has maintained that its strategy is focused on increasing ETH per share, with co-CEO Joseph Chalom stating that 'every financing decision we make is grounded in our long-term objective of increasing ETH per share.'
