SharpLink Posts $394M Q2 Loss on ETH Write-Downs
SharpLink posted a significant loss of $394.3 million for the second quarter of this year, largely due to write-downs on its ETH holdings.
The company's net loss was driven by a $321 million unrealized loss generated from falling ETH prices and a further $76.1 million in non-cash charges related to LsETH and weETH write-downs.
SharpLink reported revenue of $11.5 million for the quarter, a significant increase from the $697,000 recorded in the same period last year, primarily due to its expanded treasury operation.
