Sharplink Sees Growing Momentum in Ethereum Ecosystem Amid Q2 Net Loss
Sharplink, Inc. reported its financial and operating results for the second quarter of 2026, showing strong growth in revenue but a net loss due to non-cash unrealized losses and impairments. The company's actively managed ETH treasury strategy contributed significantly to its total revenue, which increased to $11.5 million from just $0.7 million in the same period last year.
The company's SG&A expenses rose to $9.1 million in Q2 2026 compared to $2.4 million in the prior-year quarter, mainly due to higher personnel, custody, insurance, legal, accounting and other public-company infrastructure costs. Sharplink's net loss was $394.3 million, up from a net loss of $103.4 million in Q2 2025.
Joseph Chalom, CEO of Sharplink, expressed excitement about the growing momentum in the Ethereum ecosystem, citing improved market recognition and institutional adoption as signals reinforcing his belief that a new era for Ethereum is taking shape. He noted that Sharplink's support for EthLabs, Ethereum Institutional and EthSystems reflects its commitment to strengthening core protocol development, institutional adoption and privacy infrastructure needed to accelerate Ethereum's value proposition.
