Sharplink Suffers $394M Net Loss Amid Ether Price Slump
Sharplink Gaming reported a significant net loss of $394.3 million for the second quarter of 2025, largely due to falling ether prices.
The company, which holds one of the largest corporate ethereum treasuries, continues to grow its position even as prices swing.
Sharplink brought in $11.5 million in revenue for the quarter, primarily from staking its ether holdings, which generated $11.2 million in income.
The net loss was driven by non-cash accounting charges, including a $321 million unrealized loss on crypto assets and $76.1 million in impairments related to LsETH and weETH liquid staking positions.
