SharpLink Suffers $394M Net Loss as Ethereum Price Tanks
SharpLink, the second-largest Ether treasury company, reported a massive net loss of $394 million in the second quarter of 2026. This significant loss is largely due to the decline in Ethereum's value during this period.
The Miami-based company holds 632,784 Ether worth approximately $1.2 billion and 181,321 ETH through various liquid staked Ether tokens. The decline in Ether's price had a substantial impact on SharpLink's finances, with the company recording $321 million in unrealized crypto losses and $76 million in impairments on staked Ether tokens.
SharpLink generated $11.5 million in revenue during this period, primarily from ETH staking. The company's cash and cash equivalents stood at $56 million, up from $28 million in December 2025.
