SharpLink Suffers $394M Q2 Loss Amid ETH Staking Revenue
SharpLink, an Ethereum treasury company and one of the largest of its kind, reported a staggering $394.3 million net loss in Q2. The majority of this loss came from unrealized cryptocurrency losses, totaling $321 million.
The company's impairment charges related to weETH and LsETH also contributed to the massive loss, amounting to $76.1 million.
On a more positive note, SharpLink generated $11.5 million in quarterly revenue, with ETH staking accounting for $11.2 million of this total. As of June 30, the company held approximately 886,881 ETH, which increased to around 888,938 ETH by August 3.
