Sharplink, a digital asset firm, has expressed opposition to Ethereum Improvement Proposal (EIP) 8363. According to Sharplink, EIP-8363 poses risks to DeFi, staking returns, and network security. The proposal would burn all issuance rewards once about 60.25 million ETH enters staking.
Kulechov, a representative of the firm, warned that zero rewards could make Ethereum staking uneconomical and less secure.
