SHIB Breaks Downtrend as Japan Approves Exchange Listing
Shiba Inu has finally broken an 11-month downtrend after closing above its 20-week moving average for the first time since September. The move came as Japan approved a Nomura-backed exchange listing SHIB, expanding access for Japanese investors.
The Financial Services Agency registered Laser Digital Japan as a crypto asset exchange provider, marking Japan's first new exchange registration in four years. SHIB will launch on the exchange among six supported assets, including Bitcoin and Ethereum. The token also entered the Japan Virtual and Crypto Assets Exchange Association Green List in November 2025.
SHIB must now defend support near $0.00000531 before targeting resistance around $0.00000600 and $0.00000636. The relative strength index adds caution, as SHIB's daily RSI has cooled toward 58 after reaching higher levels. This suggests buyers should be wary of a straight-line rally.
