SHIB Enters New Exchange Activity Phase with 87.5 Trillion Tokens Held

Shiba Inu (SHIB) has entered a new phase of exchange activity, according to on-chain data. With 87.5 trillion tokens held on trading platforms, this represents a decrease of 0.18% over the previous day. This development is significant because it indicates that exchanges are holding more SHIB in their reserves.

The amount of SHIB stored in wallets under exchange control is still very large at 87.5 trillion, so the decline should not be seen as an automatic supply squeeze. The real signal comes from netflow data, which shows a 24-hour decline of 4.73%. Withdrawals exceeded deposits during this period, resulting in a negative netflow of -159.4 billion tokens.

The USD exchange reserve fell by 1.67% to about $403.49 million. This disparity primarily reflects SHIB's poor price performance. Despite the decline in reserves and negative netflows, some positive network signals are present, including an increase in transactions and active addresses.
