Shiba Inu Community Remains Bullish on Crypto Amidst ETF Delays
The Shiba Inu community has been eagerly awaiting the launch of its own ETF (exchange-traded fund), but Mazrael, a longtime member of the community, notes that there is still no dedicated spot ETF for SHIB in the United States. However, he emphasizes that it's 'well on track.'
One reason for this optimism is that T. Rowe Price's TKNZ ETF was SEC-approved in June 2026 and includes Shiba Inu as one of its eligible assets. The ETF will hold between five to fifteen crypto assets at a time, using an active management strategy.
In Europe, the Valour SHIB ETP has launched and is tradable under the ticker 1VBS. Additionally, Laser Digital Japan, which is regulated by the Japanese government, lists Shiba Inu among its six available crypto assets. This could boost the cryptocurrency's status in Japan.
Furthermore, Coinbase has introduced regulated crypto futures trading to eligible Canadian clients through its CFTC-registered futures arm, including a contract for Shiba Inu (SHIBUSD).
