Shiba Inu Community Warned About Fake Token Migration Campaign on Telegram
Shiba Inu's community is on high alert after a trusted advisor issued a warning about a fake token migration campaign spreading through Telegram. Mazrael, a Shiba Inu community advisor, confirmed that the account behind the group has no connection to ShibaSwap or Shibarium and that there is no official migration happening at this time.
Mazrael stressed that SHIB holders should only use official sources for $SHIB and be cautious of any claims otherwise, especially through random Telegram invites. This warning comes just days after a separate wallet security alert was issued by Shibburn, urging holders to be careful with unexpected permission approvals and signing prompts.
The price of SHIB has recovered slightly, trading at $0.0000004439 today, up 0.13% over the past 24 hours. However, exchange inflows have dropped more than 82% over the past week, suggesting that holders are choosing to sit tight rather than sell.
According to CryptoQuant data, exchange reserves held steady at around 87.38 trillion tokens while mean SHIB exchange inflows fell significantly. This combination usually points to reduced selling pressure and may indicate that holders are waiting for a better opportunity to sell.
