Shiba Inu Exchange Activity Plunges Amidst Mixed Netflow Signals

Shiba Inu's exchange activity has experienced a significant decline in one of its key metrics. The seven-day moving average of mean SHIB exchange outflows has dropped to around 421.6 million SHIB, down 55.75% from the previous period. This represents a contraction of nearly 78% compared to its most recent peak.

This development is concerning because persistent withdrawals from exchanges typically signal that tokens are shifting away from readily available trading liquidity. However, in this case, total exchange inflows are up 1.07%, while total outflows have increased by 1.3%. As a result, netflow is now positive at approximately 2.31 billion SHIB.

The decline in mean exchange outflows may indicate that SHIB's remaining exchange data is eroding its supply-side advantage. Despite this, network activity shows slight gains, with transaction numbers up 1.22%, active addresses increasing by 1.13%, and active receiving addresses rising by 1.29%. However, these improvements have yet to translate into a clear price breakout.
