Shiba Inu Exchange Metrics Flash Mixed Signals Amidst Rising Outflows
The recent activity in Shiba Inu's exchange metrics has led to an intriguing change, with the seven-day average exchange outflow showing a significant increase of 191.89%. This could suggest that SHIB is moving away from trading platforms more frequently.
However, the overall exchange picture is still mixed, and two different price scenarios are possible. Rising outflows support a positive interpretation, as coins leaving exchanges can decrease the supply available for sale.
But on the other hand, the average inflow size increased by 1.9%, while total exchange inflows rose by 1.71%. More significantly, the seven-day moving average of mean exchange inflows grew by a substantial 354.32%. This could result in more sell-side liquidity as significant amounts of SHIB move towards exchanges.
Two possible scenarios emerge: if selling pressure stays under control, buyers may be able to move the token closer to its next resistance levels. However, if higher exchange inflows translate into real selling, the likelihood of another support test would rise in tandem with declining demand and rising reserves.
