Shiba Inu Exchange Metrics Show Unexpected Shift Amid Bullish Scenario
The Shiba Inu (SHIB) token has seen an unexpected shift in its exchange metrics, which may be unfavorable for bullish investors. According to TradingView, SHIB's average exchange outflows have decreased by 75.55% over the past week, dropping to around 261.7 million tokens.
This decline is significant because it indicates a weakening of the potential accumulation source. In contrast, the seven-day moving average of mean inflows has increased by 24.13%, reaching approximately 595.68 million SHIB. Total exchange inflows have also risen by 1.48% to about 398.35 billion SHIB.
The data suggests a shift in the short-term exchange balance from withdrawals to deposits, and SHIB's exchange reserve has grown by 0.29%, reaching roughly 87.21 trillion tokens. However, this increase does not necessarily mean that holders will sell their tokens immediately.
The overall exchange netflow has decreased by 10.29%, indicating no complete capitulation event. Instead, the divergence between increasing inflow activity and falling average outflows is a more significant signal. SHIB's price structure has done a fair job of absorbing pressure, trading above $0.00000503 at approximately $0.00000524.
However, breaking through the next significant barrier, located at $0.00000569 corresponding to the 200-day moving average, would significantly improve the technical structure. For now, SHIB remains in recovery territory, and holding above $0.00000500 is crucial. If the token's price breaks down, it could reveal the 50-day moving average near $0.00000478.
