Shiba Inu Exchange Netflow Rises Amid Technical Resistance
The Shiba Inu (SHIB) exchange netflow has seen an increase of approximately 1.2 billion SHIB, according to recent data. This movement represents a 1.27% change over the past 24 hours and highlights greater activity in the token's ecosystem. However, the increase is relatively small compared to the overall supply of SHIB, which stands at nearly 999.98 trillion tokens.
Cryptocurrency exchanges currently hold around 87.33 trillion SHIB, creating a substantial pool of tokens available for trading. The netflow data suggests that the latest movement should be viewed in context with the larger quantity of SHIB already on exchange platforms.
Rising exchange inflows could potentially increase selling liquidity, but investors may move SHIB between exchanges for various reasons, including portfolio management or arbitrage. Network activity has shown modest improvements, with active sending addresses increasing by about 1% and total transactions climbing approximately 1.1%. However, these changes have not yet translated into a clear surge in demand for the token.
The Shiba Inu price remains close to its shorter-term moving averages but faces significant technical resistance from its 200-day moving average at around $0.00000581. Breaking through this level would require stronger and more consistent buying pressure. The Relative Strength Index is currently around 46, indicating neutral-to-bearish momentum.
The immediate focus for traders remains on the $0.0000049 resistance area, followed by the $0.0000058 to $0.00000581 region. A sustained move through these levels could strengthen the recovery case, while continued weak demand could leave SHIB vulnerable to renewed selling pressure.
