Shiba Inu Gains Ground Toward Regulated Exchange-Traded Products
Shiba Inu's (SHIB) progress toward gaining broader access to regulated exchange-traded products (ETPs) has been significant, according to Shiba Eternity Advisor Mazrael. While SHIB still lacks a dedicated U.S. spot ETF, Mazrael points to developments across the United States, Europe, Japan, and Canada as signs that SHIB is gradually moving closer to this milestone.
Mazrael highlighted T. Rowe Price's Active Crypto ETF (TKNZ) as one of the most significant developments for SHIB. Launched on NYSE Arca on July 16, 2026, TKNZ is an actively managed, multi-token spot crypto exchange-traded product that selects assets from an eligible universe and can hold a basket of digital assets.
SHIB appeared among the eligible assets listed in the fund's July prospectus. Although it was not initially featured at the fund's launch, this gives institutional investors a regulated U.S. investment vehicle that can potentially provide exposure to SHIB.
