Shiba Inu's recent rally came to an abrupt end as its price dropped by over 7% on July 27, falling to around $0.0000050.

The decline in SHIB's spot price followed a similar path to its futures activity, which saw open interest drop by 25% within a single day.

According to data from Coinglass, Shiba Inu's open interest volume fell to 10.13 trillion SHIB after briefly reclaiming levels not seen in weeks.

The sudden drop brought an abrupt shift as traders reduced their exposure, with analysts noting that participants pulled back either to secure profits or avoid mounting losses when SHIB momentum faded.
