Shiba Inu Sees Massive Token Movement Amid Price Volatility
Shiba Inu (SHIB) has seen significant token movement in the past 24 hours, with over 835 billion tokens moving in and out of exchanges. This comes as large holders are actively adjusting their exposure around a recent price breakout zone.
A report from U.Today on Monday showed that recent Shiba Inu on-chain data indicated large wallets were repositioning holdings rather than simply selling. Exchange indicators revealed that more than 771 billion SHIB left exchanges over the period, while inflows topped 1.29 trillion tokens. Net exchange flow was about 512 billion SHIB.
Despite high inflows and outflows, Shiba Inu exchange reserves increased to around 86.8 trillion SHIB, suggesting new deposits continue to enter the market. Network participation did not drop sharply, with active addresses and receiving addresses both rising gradually, indicating user activity has held up after the recent surge.
Price action has entered a technically important crossroads, with Shiba Inu trading above its 26-day and 50-day exponential moving averages but facing resistance. The market sees this as a signal of aggressive profit-taking, but it is too early to say the short-term trend has fully turned down.
