Shiba Inu Sell-Off May Be Short-Lived as Market Sentiment Improves
The Shiba Inu token has experienced a decline in value over the past week, falling by approximately 8% during this time. However, analysts believe that this sell-off may be part of a broader trend away from high-risk cryptocurrencies rather than a specific issue with SHIB.
According to CoinMarketCap's Altcoin Season Index, which dropped to 36, indicating a decrease in investor interest in alternative coins. Additionally, Bitcoin dominance has remained steady at around 59%, and crypto trading volumes have decreased by nearly 38%.
The large amount of SHIB tokens still held on exchanges is also contributing to the decline in price, with exchange reserves remaining at approximately 87.5 trillion SHIB. However, recent data from CryptoQuant shows a shift in net flow statistics, with more than 150 billion SHIB coins entering exchanges and then exiting them.
Looking ahead, if buyers can push the SHIB price above $0.00000470 and volume increases, the next target is set at $0.00000500, which could confirm a stronger recovery for the token.
