Shiba Inu's Pullback Might Be an Opportunity for a Q4 Rally
Shiba Inu's price has dropped by over 20% from its late August gains, but this pullback might be an opportunity for the cryptocurrency if past trends repeat. The memecoin has been slowly recovering lost ground in H2 2026, as shown by a rising channel (purple). However, attempts to hold above the crucial 200-day moving average ($0.0000069) have failed.
This has further underscored that a bullish breakout for Shiba Inu is still elusive. Nevertheless, the channel structure could continue if the broader crypto market extends its uptrend momentum.
Despite short-term uncertainty and slow grind, there are some positive signs for Shiba Inu beneath the surface. The memecoin has been consolidating at $0.00000678 before exploding 70% to $0.000011 by mid-December in 2023, and it surged triple-digit (165%) to nearly 0.00003 in the second leg of the rally in 2024.
The broader memecoin market has also posted gains of 78% and 713%, respectively, during each period. If historical patterns hold and memecoin mania explodes, SHIB could follow suit.
