Shiba Inu's Road to $1: A Long and Arduous Journey
Shiba Inu's market value has plummeted to just $3 billion after losing 94% of its peak value due to a lack of sustainable demand. The cryptocurrency, which reached an astonishing 45,278,000% return in 2021, is now trading at $0.000005 per token, making it one of the smallest and least valuable cryptocurrencies on the market.
While there is a legitimate way for Shiba Inu to reach $1, it would require burning an absurd amount of tokens, which would take approximately 128,000 years to complete. Burning tokens only reduces supply, but does not create any value, leaving investors with fewer tokens and no financial gain.
Shiba Inu's lack of real-world demand is a major issue, as it can only be used for payments at 1,219 businesses globally. The cryptocurrency has also failed to set a new all-time high in more than five years, indicating that it is not a good store of value.
