Shiba Inu's Slow Start to September Sees Meager Token Burn

The SHIB token has seen a slow start to September, with just 3.59 million tokens burned in the first few days of the month. This represents a significant drop in daily burn rate, down 49.90% from previous levels.

Despite this, the total number of SHIB burned over the last seven days has seen a notable increase, up 119% to 51.02 million tokens. In the same period, the weekly burn rate has also increased, with 417.02 million SHIB burned in total.

Shiba Inu's token supply has been steadily reduced, with 41.08% of its initial 1 quadrillion supply now burned through 21,714 transactions. However, this slow start to September may be a concern for investors, as the asset is currently trading down 1.06% in the last 24 hours and 3.51% over the week.
