Shibarium Explorer Offline Due to DNS Change, Shibthemetaverse Domain Divested
A recent infrastructure shift involving the Shibarium explorer has left some wondering what happened. According to Mazrael, a longtime Shiba Inu community member and Shiba Eternity advisor, the Shibarium explorer went behind Cloudflare on August 11.
Mazrael reported that a DNS change occurred on this date, which is part of the outage story. He noted that Cloudflare was already being used for DNS, but this pointed straight at the server. The branding and .shib config remained missing, and the backfill has been frozen since.
The Shibarium domain itself is healthy and due to expire on August 1, 2027. However, the launchpad flood continues but remains empty. Mazrael shared further statistics, including a V3 Factory nonce of 441-483, with 42 more pools created in the last 24 hours.
Mazrael also reported that the Shibthemetaverse domain is now running domain-parking ads, confirming its divestment from the Shiba Inu ecosystem. This marks a severance of the Shibthemetaverse domain's previous association with the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
