Shibarium Explorer Outage Leaves Shiba Inu Community Wondering
The Shiba Inu community has been left wondering about a recent infrastructure shift involving Shibarium's explorer, ShibariumScan. Longtime Shiba Inu member and Shiba Eternity advisor Mazrael revealed that on August 12, the Shibarium explorer was back online and indexing again, but branding and Shibnames support had been lost.
According to Mazrael, the issue began when Shibarium's explorer went behind Cloudflare on August 11. He noted a DNS change as part of the outage story, which pointed directly at the server. On August 11, this was switched to proxied, and the branding and .shib config remained missing.
Mazrael also shared that the backfill has been frozen since then. The Shibarium domain itself is healthy, but all four transfer locks are on. Furthermore, Mazrael provided statistics on the launchpad flood, which continues but remains empty.
