Silver Price Corrects Amid Caution Ahead of US NFP Data
The silver price has retreated to near $66.30 in the European trading session on Friday after reaching a fresh five-day high of $68.00.
This decline comes ahead of the US Nonfarm Payrolls (NFP) data for August, which is set to be published at 12:30 GMT.
According to TD Securities, the US labour market is expected to rebound in August with a forecast of 95k new jobs after July's decline of 23k.
The bank also expects limited movement in joblessness, predicting that the unemployment rate will remain at 4.1%.
