Silver Price Falls 0.55% to $65.88 as Gold/Silver Ratio Rises
Silver prices took a hit on September 8, falling by 0.55% to $65.88 per troy ounce from Monday's price of $66.24, according to FXStreet data.
This decline marks the metal's seventh drop in value this year, with a total decrease of 7.33% since the beginning of 2023.
The Gold/Silver ratio, which indicates how many ounces of Silver are needed to equal the value of one ounce of Gold, rose slightly to 66.72 on Tuesday from Monday's reading of 66.61.
