Silver Prices Plunge 0.16% as Global Markets Remain Volatile
Silver prices have taken a hit on August 26, according to FXStreet data. The precious metal is currently trading at $68.54 per troy ounce, down 0.16% from Tuesday's price of $68.65.
This decline marks the third decrease in silver prices this year, with a total drop of 3.58% since the beginning of the year.
The Gold/Silver ratio has also seen a slight dip, standing at 67.45 on Wednesday, down from 67.86 on Tuesday. This ratio indicates that it currently takes more silver to equal the value of one ounce of gold.
