Silver Prices Plunge 0.25% to $68.80 Amid Year-Long Decline
Silver prices have taken a hit on August 24, according to FXStreet data. The metal is trading at $68.80 per troy ounce, a decrease of 0.25% from its value on Friday.
This drop marks a continuation of the downward trend for silver, which has fallen by 3.21% since the beginning of the year.
The Gold/Silver ratio, which indicates how many ounces of silver are needed to equal the value of one ounce of gold, rose to 67.46 on Monday from 66.74 on Friday.
