Singapore Auctions Off Luxury Items Worth $2.29M-$3.08M in Money Laundering Case

The Singapore Police Force has put up for auction over 624 luxury items seized in a $2.37 billion money laundering case.

The assets, which include handbags and accessories, jewelry, and other high-end goods, have a combined pre-sale estimate of S$2.9 million to S$3.9 million (approximately $2.29 million to $3.08 million).

The first two auctions, which opened on September 7, feature 338 handbags and accessories, including a limited-edition Louis Vuitton bag made with artist Yayoi Kusama.

The jewelry lots include a 15.02-carat yellow diamond ring estimated to be worth between S$200,000 to S$300,000.
