Singapore Hosts Agentic Decentralized Finance Forum to Accelerate Cross-Border Innovation
The Agentic Decentralized Finance Forum in Singapore aims to advance the country's next digital economy. The forum, held on August 6, brought together leaders from government, finance, academia, and technology to discuss how AI, blockchain, and digital finance are transforming businesses and capital markets.
Organizers believe that Singapore is well-positioned to lead the next chapter of digital innovation due to its strong foundations in AI governance and accreditation. The country's ability to connect people, capital, and ideas across borders has been a key factor in its success as a trusted global financial center.
The forum featured distinguished speakers from organizations such as Anchorage Digital, Alpha Ladder Group, BitGo, Chainalysis, Canton Foundation, FOMO Pay, MetaComp, National University of Singapore, Singapore FinTech Association, StraitsX, R25, Xapo Bank, and Zenith. Discussions focused on how autonomous AI agents are reshaping financial decision-making, the rise of tokenized assets, cross-border digital finance, decentralized identity, post-quantum security, and governance frameworks needed to support trusted innovation.
The event also marked an important milestone for Singapore Blockchain Week through the signing of a five-party Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with organizations spanning agentic commerce, international entrepreneurship, and artificial intelligence. The partnership aims to strengthen cross-border collaboration, innovation, and growth in the region.
