Sixty-Six Capital Inc., a Bitcoin treasury and crypto asset investment company based in Vancouver, has secured a short-term USDC loan from K33 Holding AS to acquire more Bitcoin. The loan of $2 million is interest-bearing at 6.95% per annum and matures on September 30, 2026.

The funds were borrowed while the company's own money remained in transit following a sale of its Bitcoin ETF holdings. This move was made to avoid market timing risks during the transfer period.

As K33 is a control person of Sixty-Six Capital, this agreement constitutes a related party transaction under Canadian securities regulations. The company has relied on exemptions from valuation and minority shareholder approval requirements due to the loan's terms being considered reasonable and comparable to those offered by an arm's-length lender.
