Sky Governance Token Targeted at $0.325 by 2028: Standard Chartered

Standard Chartered's digital-assets research team has issued a target price for Sky's (SKY) governance token, forecasting it to reach $0.325 by the end of 2028.

This represents a fivefold increase from the current reference price of about $0.065, implying a market capitalization close to $7.6 billion at unchanged circulating supply.

The forecast assumes Sky will capture a share of the stablecoin and onchain-credit growth expected across DeFi, including organic growth in lending, trading, and settlement.

However, the bank's analogy comparing Sky to a 'federal bank' due to its economic model does not remove risks, as Sky carries a different risk structure than traditional banks.
