Skyward Group Stock Drops as McHarg Named Successor Amid Haushill's Retirement
Skyward Specialty Insurance Group (SKWD) stock fell by 1.53% to $55.54 on Thursday, following a sharp drop from above $57.50.
The decline comes as Skyward Group announced the planned retirement of Chief Financial Officer Mark Haushill in March 2027 after over a decade with the company.
Taryn McHarg, currently CFO at Apollo and Deputy CFO at Skyward Group, will succeed Haushill as CFO. McHarg brings extensive experience from her roles at Apollo, BUPA, and Ernst & Young, where she spent seven years strengthening her accounting and financial management background.
Haushill will remain involved with the company after his retirement, serving as a Senior Advisor through 2027 to support the transition. This arrangement gives McHarg continued access to institutional knowledge during her first months leading Skyward's finance organization.
