SOL Sees Record Institutional Demand
Solana's SOL token is receiving significant institutional demand, as evidenced by strong inflows into U.S. spot Solana ETFs. On August 24, these funds pulled in $33.49 million, their strongest single-day inflow since December 2025.
This marks the fifth consecutive trading day with positive institutional demand through spot Solana ETFs, indicating that the recent SOL price rally is not solely driven by speculative traders.
The trading activity around Solana's network has also been unusually strong, with weekly spot trading volumes exceeding those of Bybit, Coinbase, and Kraken for nine consecutive weeks. Only Binance remains ahead in this comparison.
Solana processed over 1 billion transactions for the fourth week in a row, reaching a new record high of 1.31 billion transactions last week.
