Solana Analyst Predicts Third All-Time High in 2026
Solana has reached new all-time highs twice before and may be poised for a third leap, according to analyst DJ Ha Trang. The first major run came in November 2021 when SOL hit $260 during the NFT boom and DeFi expansion. However, momentum collapsed alongside FTX, sending Solana back down to around $10.
The ecosystem kept building anyway, and fueled by the 2024 memecoin wave, Solana clawed back to a new all-time high of $290 in January 2025. Ha Trang's research report argues that the network is now positioning for a third run, this time built on a broader foundation than NFTs, DeFi, or memecoins alone.
Solana dominates spot trading market share with over half the market at 54%, and $425B in monthly volume. According to Ha Trang, infrastructure and aggressive business development are key factors in Solana's dominance. The network has spent years reinforcing its position as the fastest, cheapest chain available and recently showed better trade execution for SOL to USDC pairs than centralized exchanges.
Ha Trang predicts that given the previous all-time high of $290, a new record could be set once this third leap plays out, possibly breaking $300. However, the timing is uncertain as the current crypto winter may persist for some time yet, with some analysts seeing 2028 as the likely turning point for crypto's next bull cycle.
