Solana is auctioning off nine advertising spaces on its official logo to raise funds for Nepal's flood relief efforts. The initiative, run jointly by the Solana Foundation and Mallow Labs, has already raised over $158,000 with a 24-hour bidding window still underway.

The floods in August damaged homes, roads, bridges, and critical infrastructure across communities in Nepal. In response to this disaster, Solana partnered with Mallow to turn its official X profile picture into a fundraising vehicle.

The auction works by dividing the Solana logo into nine separate advertising zones, each available for bidding. Bidders can select a zone and place a bid, with the highest bidder on each zone at the end of the 24-hour window winning that spot. Winners can bid on and win multiple zones if they choose.

The funds raised will be donated to the Nepal Relief Fund through Engage Nepal, a US-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit led by former US Ambassador Scott DeLisi, which collects donations transparently onchain before routing them to the Government of Nepal's official Prime Minister Disaster Relief Fund.
