Solana Boosts Data Capacity by 230% in Upcoming Transaction v1 Upgrade
Solana's upcoming Transaction v1 upgrade promises to revolutionize the way transactions are processed on its network. Currently, Solana has a maximum data size limit of 1,232 bytes per transaction, but with Transaction v1 set to go live on September 9, this will be increased to 4,096 bytes.
This means that complex transactions such as large cryptographic proofs, multisignature transactions requiring multiple approvals, and confidential transfers can now be handled in a single transaction. Previously, these operations had to be split across multiple transactions due to the size limit.
