Solana Breaks Descending Trendline Amid Bullish Divergence Setup
Solana's price has been showing early signs of recovery as it forms an accumulation bottom. A weekly bullish RSI divergence indicates that SOL may be building a durable floor, rather than just pausing before another move lower.
The weekly chart shows Solana trading near $76.63, inside a range that has contained price between the mid-$60s and the area just below $100 since its decline from 2025 highs. This consolidation is important for determining whether SOL is building a durable floor or merely pausing before another move lower.
The bullish signal in this setup is the divergence between price and the Relative Strength Index, with SOL forming a lower price low while the weekly RSI produced a higher low. The RSI has since recovered to about 41, moving away from the oversold region near 30 and adding weight to the divergence.
Solana also broke above a descending trendline on its daily chart, which had capped price since May. The MACD momentum turned bullish after crossing above its signal line, indicating downside momentum is weakening and buyers are gaining control.
