Solana Breaks Out of Consolidation Range with Bullish Technical Setup
Solana's technical setup is flashing a buy signal for the first time since January, according to analyst Ali Martinez. The token has been consolidating between $77 and $92 for six weeks, but has now broken out of this range and is heading towards the $100 psychological level.
Martinez points to the SuperTrend indicator flipping from Sell to Buy on the daily chart as a sign that SOL is poised for a relief rally. The token jumped 22% from its March lows and briefly touched a one-month high of $97 earlier this week before pulling back to $90.
The UTXO Realized Price Distribution metric shows a demand floor between $82.60 and $85.55 where 76 million SOL tokens changed hands, indicating that sell-side liquidity has been exhausted. Martinez believes that if Solana holds the structural support near $93, a rally could unfold 'much faster than people think'.
