Solana Crypto Card Platforms Hit by $1.1M Smart Contract Hack
A security flaw in a legacy smart contract on Solana-based crypto card platforms has led to a $1.1 million theft.
The main affected neobanks were Avici and Tria, with Avici losing $500,800 affecting 1,685 cardholders, while Tria lost over $430,000 impacting 636 users.
The stolen stablecoins were converted to SOL, moved to Ethereum, and laundered through Tornado Cash before both companies pledged full reimbursement to customers.
