Solana Crypto Cards Boom: Tokenized Collectibles Hit Record $69.5M Volume

Tokenized collectibles on Solana's blockchain have reached new heights, with crypto cards hitting $69.5 million in trading volume last month. This is a record for the sector, which was largely untracked six months ago.

The majority of this volume came from Collector Crypt, a marketplace that has dominated the niche by tokenizing over 130,000 graded physical cards to date. The platform accounts for around 64% of all tokenized trading card activity on Solana.

Collector Crypt's model solves two chronic headaches in the traditional collectibles world: sky-high transaction fees and painfully slow liquidity. Holders can trade NFTs instantly on-chain or redeem them for the physical card whenever they want.
