Solana Emerges as 'Everything Chain' Amidst Crypto Market Shifts
Solana's versatility and performance are making it an attractive option for developers and users alike. The blockchain network is becoming the 'everything chain' due to its ability to support a wide range of activities, including trading, money movement, and settlement.
Mike Dudas, co-founder of 6th Man Ventures and an early backer of Solana projects, believes that Solana's infrastructure, which includes round-the-clock availability, deep liquidity, low fees, and near-instant settlement, makes it possible for consumer apps to hide many technical elements of crypto. This has made it easier for users to interact with blockchain technology without even realizing they are doing so.
Dudas pointed out that Solana's less visible infrastructure enables the creation of user-friendly products that people actually use. In contrast, corporate-backed blockchains like Coinbase's Base and Robinhood Chain have an incentive to direct users toward revenue-generating products.
