Solana ETF Inflows Hit Record, But History Suggests a Warning Sign
Solana's ETF inflows reached $60.91 million on August 27, nearly seven times the previous session and the third-largest day since launch.
This milestone is concerning because history shows that two other instances of record-breaking ETF demand were followed by sharp losses: SOL fell 20.1% within seven days and 27.5% within a month after taking in $69.45 million on October 28, 2025, and dropped 21.1% over the next fortnight after receiving $70.05 million on November 3, 2025.
However, current fundamentals suggest that this time may be different. Tokenized real-world assets hit an all-time high of $4.167 billion on August 25, with holders up 12.12% in 30 days. Network revenue is also increasing, with fees rising 37.29% against the prior month and DeFi deposits climbing 24.36% to $5.96 billion.
