Solana ETF Inflows Plummet by 96% as Trading Volume Falls
Solana ETF inflows fell sharply last week, dropping by 96% from $153.87 million to $6.18 million. Despite this significant decline, Solana ETFs still recorded a net inflow for the week.
According to data from SoSoValue, the nine Solana ETF products held about $1.41 billion in net assets on September 4, down only slightly from the previous week at $1.43 billion.
The funds' trading volume also declined last week, falling from $699.39 million to $350.27 million as inflows collapsed by 96%. Ethereum ETFs saw a similar decline in trading volume, while Bitcoin ETFs experienced lower volume but continued to attract more money.
CME data showed leveraged funds cutting their net short position in SOL futures, which some traders may see as another sign of demand. However, this data does not necessarily indicate new money entering SOL.
